Roman Krznaric spoke at TEDxAthens in 2013 about how to start an empathy revolution. The goal is to go “from me to we, seeing the world from other perspectives, understanding others and our connection to them.” He talked about how to harness the power of empathy through technology and tools. Empathy can be taught when you bring diverse people together to meet, and they begin to see life through each other’s perspectives. Differences spark curiosity, that can be used to find connections.<\/p>\n

Roman Krznaric<\/a> is a cultural thinker and writer on the art of living. This talk is based on his new book Empathy: A Handbook for Revolution<\/em>. Roman is a founding faculty member of The School of Life in London, and advises organisations including Oxfam and the United Nations on using empathy and conversation to create social change. He is also founder of the world’s first Empathy Library<\/a>. He has been named by The Observer as one of Britain’s leading lifestyle philosophers.<\/p>\n
