The World Peace Through Technology Organization knows that quotes can be very useful. They can inspire and motivate, offer insight and persective, and they fit nicely on a poster. They are memes that can be spread easily, each containing a packet of wisdom and understanding. They are like little mind-bombs being launched from all directions, in a battle against apathy and misunderstanding. They can be extremely powerful, especially when put to music.

We’d like to share with you some quotes that may be useful now…

QUOTES FROM US:

We’ve woken up from a long sleep. We’re looking around, clear-eyed for the first time since returning from the land of dreams, and we don’t like what we see.

No problem created by humans is too big to solve.

Acting only for short-term gain is a crime against humanity. It is a crime against all future humanity.

We are experiencing a new kind of revolution. It is a revolution of the mind, in the way we think and see the world. It is also a revolution of the heart, in the way we see and act towards each other. This is a nonviolent revolution.

We’ve seen how far civilization can take us when we are at war with nature and ourselves. Now let’s see how far we can go working together.

The Critic holds up a mirror. The Trickster holds up a window. The Magician turns it into a door. And the Brave jump through it to freedom.

Science should serve the needs of humanity, rather than profit off of it and destroy it.

Science is the product of our intentions, our priorities, our questions about the world around us and ourselves. In order to survive, we need to change our priorities, and see the world as it really is.

Time is speeding up, it’s not just you.

No matter how enslaved and deceived and manipulated and controlled we may be, we are still human. And that spirit inside us, which makes us human, is stronger than all the power in the world and all the forces trying to hold it down.

We are all accountable for the world we create.

You have to participate in a democracy, or we end up where we are now.

Corporations are just a collection of real human beings working together on the same goals. The key to change is deciding who gets to determine the goals.

There is a theory that 2012 already happened, and it’ll take a while to process.

If this was the End Times, and Jesus returned to earth today… what would he have to say about the conditions we’re living in and the behavior of our society? I bet he would say the exact same things that the protesters occupying Wall Street are saying. The beliefs and the goals are the same. Jesus would be camping in Zuccotti Park, talking non-stop to the media and people gathered, saying the same basic thing that the other protesters are saying, “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Love is the solution to all of the problems we are facing – each individual problem, and the root cause of all of the problems. No solution would be complete without incorporating love in all of our decisions, whether we call it “love” or “respect” or “compassion” or “community” or just doing what is right.

The problem is separation. The solution is love.
